2024 has been a year of magic for us, a journey marked by unforgettable moments shared together. We began the year with adventurous spirits, exploring the vast wonders of Death Valley and the wild beauty of Iceland. In May, our curiosity led us back to the enchanting Sea Ranch, where the landscape along the coast captured our hearts and imagination. It wasn’t long before we found a piece of earth we could call our own—a small, 0.6-acre sanctuary nestled among towering trees, just a mile from the ocean.

To have land that is ours feels like a dream come true. We’ve begun to form a deep connection with the land, becoming friends with the trees that stand proudly around us. From their roots to their crowns, we’ve envisioned how each part of the forest will unfold, growing alongside us.

We’ve visited Sea Ranch four times since, two of those trips bringing Mike’s parents to share in the wonder of the majestic coastline. We’ve watched whales glide gracefully across the horizon, pelicans soar in the morning mist, and seals play in the surf, their joyful presence a testament to the wild beauty of this place. Each sunrise and sunset brings new colors, new light, and a new sense of awe. We’ve fallen deeply in love with this landscape, and feel endlessly blessed to now be part of it, as it becomes a permanent chapter in our shared story.
