Updated: Dec 13, 2025

**Translation**

The one who drifts through cycles of dust and samsara,

Unable to cast it all away,

Lingers at the threshold of the next life,

Searching for release.

The vast heavens, generous,

Offer a single lamp to light the five paths,

Guiding pain toward transcendence,

Leading souls to cross into another life.

And once again, at a fork in the road,

We look back on life—

Perhaps already beyond fate’s grasp.

So many memories drowned in regret,

What could have been free is locked away inside,

Yet still trembles on this platform of emotion,

Resonating together.

The one who drifts through cycles of dust and samsara,

Unable to cast it all away,

Lingers at the threshold of the next life.

Roots not yet severed—

Who will show compassion?

Still stubbornly pressing forward, head down.

A weathered voice hums a southern song,

Echoes of longing reverberate—

The remnants of worldly ties.

It has not ended yet;

One last fleeting dance begins,

A dance without tomorrow.

The one who drifts through cycles of dust and samsara,

Unable to cast it all away,

Lingers at the threshold of the next life.

Roots not yet severed—

Who will show compassion?

Still grieving for the worldly wounds that will not fade.

(Past karma unresolved—how then to move on?)

The one who drifts through cycles of dust and samsara,

Perhaps, in this life,

May find deliverance from a half-life of entanglement.

Like fallen leaves that take root again,

There is no need for bitterness.

Looking back—

Amid countless regrets,

The masses too are ferried across.

And only then do we realize:

We have already been sheltered by grace.

"A meditation on the cycle of life and rebirth, where unresolved regrets slowly transform into acceptance, compassion, and spiritual release"
